How to Get Listed in the Directory
This Directory is organized by subject and most listings in it are suggested to us by users. Listings are placed in categories by our Content Team, who evaluate/visit your suggestions and decide where they best belong. We do this to ensure that the Directory is organized in the best possible way, is easy to use, intuitive, helpful, and fair to everyone.
With this in mind, we ask that you follow three simple steps if you have a listing you'd like to suggest:
1. Check to see if your suggestion is already listed.
An important first step, because if your suggestion is already listed, you do not need to submit it again. Check by searching for your listing by title, or by browsing appropriate categories. (You can do this from most pages within the directory using the search box near the top or bottom of the screen).
2. Find the appropriate category in the Directory.
Finding an appropriate category for your listing is at the heart of this process. Remember that our Content Team evaluate/visit each listing suggested and proper categorization on your part helps us process suggestions quickly.
3. Suggest your listing from the appropriate category.
Suggest your listing from the category you think most appropriate. Do this by clicking on the "Suggest a Listing" link at the bottom of that category page. Also remember that the final placement of your listing is determined by our Content Team.
When you click on "Suggest a Listing" in the appropriate category, you'll see an on-line form asking for information about your site. Please be prepared to provide as much information as possible. The information requests in bold need to be completed (you can put N/A if you prefer). This information is used to make your listing complete and includes a brief description and up to 15 key search words to associate with your entry. Please refrain from using marketing slogans such as, "We're Number One," or "The Best Site on the Internet!" and Do Not Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word. Also, we ask that you do not use any non-alphanumeric characters in the description or keywords. Separate your keywords with commas!
Please ensure that if you are providing a URL that it is complete (includes http://).
We update the database on a regular basis and listings following the guidelines above can expect to be added at that time. Please help us to help you by providing your information as outlined above.
